There’s something special about slowing down for tea — the warmth of a cup in your hands, the clink of dishes, the simple joy of gathering together. In this Little Explorers study, your preschool and early elementary children will explore tea through hands-on activities, picture books, sensory play, and gentle skill-building. It’s a cozy, memory-making way to learn through shared experience.
Includes:
- Hands-on tea-themed activities like baking scones, making sun tea, and painting with brewed tea so your child can learn through taste, touch, and creativity
- Five Senses exploration pages to help little learners observe carefully and describe what they see, hear, smell, taste, and feel
- Tea table printable set so children can practice sorting, matching, and imaginative play while strengthening early math and fine motor skills
- Coloring pages and themed printables that reinforce learning while giving your child quiet, meaningful work
- Weekly tracker pages so you can gently guide character habits, memory work, and daily “Do It” activities without extra planning
- Curated picture book list centered on tea parties, hospitality, and friendship to spark conversation and connection during read-aloud time
Note: You will need simple household supplies such as tea bags, baking ingredients, basic art materials, and optional dress-up items to complete the activities (see the full supply list for details).

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens when I check out?
On the download page you will be given access to a PDF. Once you open it, there is an invitation link to create an account on our online portal. You will use the portal to access the material in the plans from your browser or by downloading our app. It is easily accessed by desktop or mobile device. We will also mail a copy of the invitation PDF to your email as well.
What ages is this plan for?
Little Explorers is designed for children ages 3–6. When your child is ready for more academic work (typically around ages 5–6), you can add phonics, math, and handwriting instruction to create a complete kindergarten or first-grade experience.
Is there Christian content?
The plans are not specifically religious, though we use Bible verses for memory work and occasionally include sacred music as part of the Western tradition. Members of our ecumenical team profess the Nicene Creed.
