Journey to Bethlehem and discover the people, places, and events surrounding the birth of Jesus through meaningful, family-style learning. Designed for grades 6 and under, the Nativity Wonder Study weaves together Scripture, history, geography, science, and language arts to help children develop a deeper understanding of the Christmas story while building essential academic skills and enriching morning time activities.
Across 18 open-and-go lessons, students will explore the historical and cultural setting of Jesus' birth, map important biblical locations, study the significance of myrrh, and strengthen writing and vocabulary skills through narration, copywork, dictation, and paragraph organization. Thoughtful journal prompts, mapwork, and timeline activities encourage students to make lasting connections between biblical history and the world around them.
